Driving Education Programs

Driver education is designed for people who have never been licensed before or who hold a learner’s permit.

The program consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of driving evaluation.

Information to Consider:

• The student must be a minimum of 15 years and 9 months old to attend classes. Students can choose to take 30 hours of the classroom portion before obtaining a learner’s permit.
• It is advisable to obtain a learner’s permit before taking the 6-hour driving assessment. Before the 6-hour driving assessment, the student must have received some training from a driving coach.
• Students under 25 years of age are legally required to complete a minimum of 60 hours of supervised driving.
• Students over 25 years of age are legally required to complete a minimum of 14 hours of supervised driving.
• A driving coach is anyone who has held a full license for a minimum of 3 years and is at least 21 years old. This person could be your parent, legal guardian, a family member, or an instructor from a driving school.

• MONDAY: 6:00 pm – 9:15 pm
• TUESDAY: 6:00 pm – 9:15 pm
• WEDNESDAY: 6:00 pm – 9:15 pm
• THURSDAY: 6:00 pm – 9:15 pm
• FRIDAY: 6:00 pm – 9:15 pm
